Using the right “lens”

Women’s issues in the workplace are often marginalized and disregarded since they are not considered as business issues. This is the first mistake that a serious manager can make. In fact the first step to understand and take advantage of feminist values is changing the lens through which we observe this phenomenon.

In a business context we need to use the approach which better suits such an environment: professionalism. In fact the majority of the claims made by women in the workplace represents doubtlessly the request of a social and professional recognition, which itself leads to a healthier and more efficient environment.

Overcoming this taboo and facing these problems (which are often ignored) it’s our mission and we count to achieve it by helping feminist entrepreneurs and business people, of all genders, to create transformational businesses and business practices using feminist values and vision.

For this purpose every employer or manager can take inspiration by reading the tips we are gonna explain on this Blog, which will definitively contribute to increase profits, get the best employees and improve company’s image. Our work will extend from material and more immediate aspects, such as dress-codes and wages, to more abstract and philosophical ideas, for example mansplaining, the ethic dimension or a set of values to grow in the organization.
